Your apparel can give you the wrong identity. There is an old adage that says, “How you dress is the way you will be addressed.”
If a queen put on the attire of a prostitute, she brought herself to a place of less respect in the community. First, she sets the trend that there is no difference between a prostitute and a queen. Second, she advertises her job because a harlot’s attire attracts those who want to patronize her.
When a beautiful sister puts on harlot attire and keeps saying God looks at the heart, what about the people around her? You can easily say it’s their problem but don’t forget that you are giving yourself the wrong identity.
A wrong identity attracts the opposite of a man’s desires, and what is that thing that you can do when the negative energy keeps coming your way?
There is a common phrase among youngsters nowadays: “No good girl.” Many vows not to get married or even take any lady seriously because even the goods flocking with bad are tagged as bad. People are not patient enough these days to know whether you are good or bad, but they judge you based on how you appear to them.
The emphasis of this message is not all about others but about the good girls trying to join the trendy fashion of being naked. Being sexy and looking sexy is not the only way.
I could remember one of my brilliant students with indecent dressing. Academically, she is brilliant and has good behavior, but the only thing she doesn’t want to let go of is her indecent dress. She suffers a lot at the hands of many guys just because of her choice. Does that mean those who dress well don’t suffer at the hands of bad people as well? Yes, they do, but it can’t be compared to the person who portrays herself as what she is not.
You can minimize your future prayer points now by living a life that glorifies God. Your body is the temple of God; don’t invite evil spirits to the temple with your hands. The devil uses what he finds at the people’s hands to inflict them. You will not be a victim of the devil in Jesus’ mighty name.
Don’t forget that people rushed ripe fruits for a common purpose. Ripe to be consumed. Keep your body for your future husband. If you have exposed yourself to the flies, what will he appreciate? Will he be proud of you when you meet him?
Seasons and times change, and things can change tomorrow, but the knowledge that people have about you will take a century to wipe out. Dress like a queen. Dress smartly, not sexily. Dress like a child of God and not like a harlot.
What is exposed is ready to be trashed. You will not be trashed in Jesus’ mighty name.
Imagine your child’s teacher dressing like a harlot; will your mind be at peace? Imagine your bank manager dressed like a tout; would you trust them with your money? Imagine your doctor dressed like a mechanic; would you trust her with your life? If the answers are no, then you need to change.
Why is it only about girls? Men are not excluded in this matter, but the focus now is on the ladies. You are a queen and not trash.
The queen bee is the hive’s heart. She’s the mother of them all and the bond that holds the colony together. The hive will perish without a queen, and the bees will scatter. The world will perish without queens. Queens are to be protected.
