Kudos to Comrade Opeoluwasun Ojekemi (PhD), who is doing the unbelievable as the NANS President, Turkey Zone.
Comrade Opeoluwaseun has proven to be the selfless leader that Nigerians deserve, and he is not taking the burden of Nigerians in Turkiye and the Turkiye Republic of Cyprus lightly during this challenging economic time.
Despite the fact that he is holding a position of no monetary value, he never gives up on letting the world know that Nigerians abroad are the pride of Africa.
He visited Hon. Abike Dabiri (Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission) to explain the welfare of Nigerian students in the Turkish Zone. Comrade Opeoluwaseun gave a report on Nigerians doing well in the Turkish Zone and presented the challenges Nigerian students face.
Hon. Abike has been known to be a critic of bad image, and she has been in the news many times regarding the Turkiye Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) case, which many people see as just one side of the coin. Comrade Opeoluwaseun, who is after the welfare and good image of Nigerians in the Turkish Zone, made her understand the unclear story with facts, and everything is now under control.
Comrade Opeoluwaseun also visited the Federal Ministry of Education to strengthen the relationship between the ministry and the universities in the Turkiye Republic of Northern Cyprus. There have been a lot of headaches recently regarding some universities that have not been accredited in Nigeria, and in the coming month, everything will be made known to Nigerians in TRNC so as to guide them in choosing the right university to study at without facing any future problems in making use of their certificate in their fatherland.
