Today in my software quality assurance class, the students came with the final project presentation. The implementation is somehow okay from the outside, but inside it is full of errors that make the whole effort of the project useless. Just imagine that on the day of launching your mall, when people have paid and are about to start their businesses, the whole building just collapsed. The outcomes look sparkling, but the process of achieving the structure is not right.

They somehow build a web application in the wrong way that doesn’t follow the software quality assurance standard, and they come up with something just to show. They don’t even remember anything about the process, standard, or software methodology adopted; all their focus is on what to present.

They have been coming for weekly meetings where I used to correct some of the errors in the project, but in the end, they came with a time bomb. They struggle with communication and delays. Unforeseen circumstances happen while working, and they forget the most important part of the course that says,

“It’s not the final outcome that determines what you will get, but the right process follows according to the standard.”

They came up with something, but the process of achieving it was wrong. They worked tirelessly with less time to rest for 3 months, but in the end, the project was rated a failure. Many people are like this in the world, running a race that won’t yield anything in the end. They keep focusing on outcomes rather than the right process. They do all kinds of things just to get to the top, forgetting that they are building a time bomb.

They ignored holiness, love, righteous living, and consecration and kept on dealing with unforgiveness. They are moving with so much burden, thinking that getting to the final line is what matters. People get to the final line and get disqualified because of the wrong process. Don’t be caught unaware, because better is the end of life than the beginning thereof.

It’s not the outside that determines where you will end, but the inside that is pure.
